The Teen Center, located at the main Health Department in St.
Petersburg provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere for
teens to receive both medical care as well as information,
education and referral for nearly any issue facing today's
youth. In addition to a fully functional teen health
clinic, the Teen Center is designed to allow teens the
opportunity to talk to staff about topics such as drugs,
alcohol, smoking, peer pressure, finding a job, balancing a
checkbook.
Educational videos on a wide range of topics are available
for viewing at any time, reference and resource material is
available on site.
Peer support groups, focus groups, and educational sessions
are planned regularly and all teens are encouraged to attend
and participate.
